THE BASIN
Located in the eastern United States, the Appalachian Basin covers approximately 185,500 square miles from New York to northern Georgia, and was the birthplace of domestic oil and gas production.
WHERE WE'RE LOCATED
The southern portion of the Appalachian Basin, including eastern Kentucky, has a long history with oil and gas production occurring since the early 1900s. Our Managing Partners have been active in the Basin for three decades.
Technological Advantages
Perfecting hydraulic fracturing and the advent of horizontal drilling has resulted in a more productive and efficient process, and made oil and gas development increasingly more cost effective.
Our Focus
We’re applying modern technology to the Berea Sandstone, a well-known formation in eastern Kentucky that has been productive for more than 100 years, to unlock new reserves.
